SCHIPHOL AIRPORT – KEUKENHOF – ROTTERDAM – KINDERDIJK – VALKENBURG – MAASTRICHT

 

 

DAY 1: SCHIPHOL AIPORT – KEUKENHOF – ROTTERDAM

Pick up from the airport at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Check-in Hotel Afterwards, take the journey directly from the hotel to the Keukenhof Tulip Garden. Keukenhof is a large garden full of various flowers, especially tulips. The park is visited by tourists of different nationalities. Lunch at the Keukenhof. After lunch you get free time, so take pictures. Next, continue your trip to Rotterdam. On arrival in Rotterdam you will make a walking tour through the old city centre. Late in the afternoon back to the hotel. Overnight in Rotterdam.
 

DAY 2: ROTTERDAM – KINDERDIJK

After breakfast, you will take a walk to visit the cube house and the Erasmus Bridge – one of the 10 most spectacular bridges in the world. In the afternoon, you will take a sightseeing tour through Kinderdijk. The journey from Rotterdam to Kinderdijk takes about 20 minutes by ferry. Kinderdijk is a village with rows of windmills. Lunch on the boat while enjoying the view from Rotterdam to Kinderdijk. After exploring the Kinderdijk site it’s time to leave Kinderdijk and return to Rotterdam by the same boat. Overnight in Rotterdam.
 

 

DAY 3: ROTTERDAM – VALKENBURG – MAASTRICHT

Check-in hotel in Maastricht. After breakfast, it is time to leave Rotterdam and head for Valkenburg, province of South Limburg. Valkenburg is known for its natural atmosphere, because of its presence on the hill. When you arrive in Valkenburg you will visit Castle Ruïn. After this a walking tour will visit a Lourdesgrot, a monument of the religion. Then free time, it is time to explore the scenic highlights of Valkenburg. Lunch in Valkenburg. After lunch, it’s time to leave Valkenburg and to continue your journey to the city of Maastricht. If there is still time, visit the centre of Maastricht, including a visit to the river Maas and its surroundings. Overnight in Maastricht.
 

DAY 4: MAASTRICHT

After breakfast, it is time to continue the tour with a visit to the Limestone Mine or ENCI tour, on the edge of Maastricht. Then continue the journey to a cave, Grotten Sint-Pietersberg. In this tourist attraction of cave, you will get information about cave and its surroundings by a local guide. Lunch in an Indonesian restaurant in the city of Maastricht. After lunch visit the city centre of Maastricht such as a visit to the Saint Servatius Basilica, the town hall, the Vrijthof, the historic Dinghuis, shopping for luxury goods, and much more. Overnight in Maastricht.
 

DAY 5: MAASTRICHT – SCHIPHOL AMSTERDAM AIRPORT

Hotel check out. After breakfast, it is time to leave the hotel and proceed to Schiphol Airport.

If you want to visit the tulip flower garden, it is advisable to make a reservation in advance. The tulip flower garden is open from 20 March to 9 May 2021.

The boat Rotterdam – Kinderdijk
The boat departs not at all times, depending on the season. So please do not hesitate to inform us in advance before making a booking.

Museum entrance ticket
Tickets for museums, such as entering the Castle Ruïne, Cave of Sint-Pietersberg, etc., are not always open. So please notify us in advance before you book.
