DAY 1: SCHIPHOL AIRPORT – ARNHEM – MILLINGEN AAN DE RIJN 

07:00 o’clock
Pick up at Schiphol Amsterdam Airport or pick up at the hotel as agreed, and then immediately visit Arnhem. Arnhem is located in the middle of a green environment. Around the city there are many trees and green parks that make the city even more magnificent.
 
Arrive in Arnhem to visit the Dutch Open air museum. Inside this open-air museum are various antique houses, farms and factories from different parts of the Netherlands. This is a national museum that focuses on culture related to the daily lives of ordinary people.
 
Time to leave Arnhem and continue the trip to Millingen aan de Rijn


 

DAY 1: MILLINGEN AAN DE RIJN – NIJMEGEN – SCHIPHOL AIRPORT

  Lunch at Millingen aan de Rijn.
After lunch, continue the trip to the museum in Millingen aan de Rijn.
 
Then proceed to a city that is one of the oldest cities in the Netherlands, namely the city of Nijmegen. Nijmegen is located on the sides of the river Waal and the Maas-Waal canal. Nijmegen is therefore an important city for the water traffic that departs from Rotterdam inland into the Ruhr area.
 
Nijmegen, Maastricht and Utrecht are among the oldest cities in the Netherlands. Only in these three cities will you find ancient cafes during the era of the Roma-empire. Arriving in Nijmegen, you will take a walking tour to the city centre and pass by the scenic sites.
 
Time to leave Nijmegen and continue on to Schiphol Airport or to the hotel as agreed.

  5. Extra beds (folding beds) may not always be the same comfort as an ordinary bed.
PAYMENT
  1. Down payment (deposit) 50%, paid within 14 days, calculated from the invoice date.
  2. The payment of 50% should be made no later than 3 months before the trip.
  3. The complete schedule is given 7 days before the trip.
  4. The group departs when the minimum number of participants has been reached.
  5. In case of force majeure (ordinary coincidental circumstances that cannot be avoided) such as: loss, damage, disruption, delays in transport facilities / natural disasters, etc., Which may affect travel events, are subject to change and a non-refundable return is possible) . And travel expenses do not include any additional costs caused by force majeure.

  7. COVID-19

Our approach to preventing the spread of the COVID-19 virus:
  • Wear a mask while travelling

Museum in the Netherlands
Visiting museums is sometimes included in the itinerary. Please inform us of your arrival period. As the museum is NOT open all year round, the opening time of the museum depends on the season.
 
Traditional market in the Netherlands
The traditional cheese market in the Netherlands is similar almost to a museum. The market is not open all the time. The market is open during certain periods, it may be seasonal, and depending on the weather or the climatic conditions. If the traditional market is not open, the itinerary will be changed to an alternative.
 
Festivals and Markets
If you really want to see the traditional markets and street theatre festivals then it’s best to come in the summer, and that’s from May to August.
