FULL-DAY TOUR
SCHIPHOL AMSTERDAM AIRPORT – DOESBURG – BRONKHORST – ZUTPHEN

DAY 1:  SCHIPHOL AIRPORT – DOESBURG  – BRONKHORST – ZUTPHEN

7:30 o’clock
In the morning, you will be picked up at Schiphol Amsterdam Airport, after which you will immediately continue your journey to visit the city centre of Doesburg.

Doesburg is part of the Hansa city, a beautiful city on the river Ijssel. On arrival in Doesburg you will be taken to the Dutch tourism sites, walk through the old city full of history and culture. Walking in this city, feels like being brought to the past, to be precise in the Middle Ages.

Time to leave Doesburg and drive on to Bronkhorst.

Bronkhorst is known as “The smallest city in the Netherlands”. This was a farming village, which received city privileges in 1482.

You will become introduced to the popular sights of the Netherlands, including Bronkhorst. During the walking tour, you will visit the noble residences, where the mansions of Bronkhorst lived in the Middle Ages.

It is time to leave Bronkhorst and drive on to Zutphen.

Zutphen also is part of the City of Hansa. In the 14th and 15th centuries, the traders of the city of Zutphen actively traded at the annual market. Due to the success of the trade this city had earned to be called “Golden Age”. In the Golden Age, they were busy building cities. You will see for yourself the city architecture, such as the church and its houses as well as the city landmarks.

If your arrival is at the right time, you can enjoy every Thursday and Saturday the activities of the Dutch traditional market in Zutphen with the locals.

Please note! The trip Zutphen – Schiphol Amsterdam Airport takes about an hour and a half, so we need to get a confirmation of the departure time of the flight in advance. So, we can adjust the itinerary.

We wish you a safe return to your destination. And we hope to see you again!
